About the role

We are looking for an experienced Club Manager to lead the day-to-day running of the club and help us continue to build the welcoming, social and community-focused environment at the heart of Recess. This is a hands-on role combining team management, club operations and customer experience. You'll work closely with our team, members and founding partners and play an important role in the continued growth of the club.

Key responsibilities

- Oversee day-to-day club operations and front-of-house service
- Supervise, support and train the club team
- Manage staff scheduling and general team organisation
- Lead regular team planning meetings and the weekly meeting schedule
- Oversee booking systems and reservations
- Manage club stock, ordering and related systems
- Work with the Head of Marketing on partnerships,



events and community initiatives
- Oversee club maintenance, facilities management and operational checklists
- Provide regular reporting and basic financial analysis
- Work directly with the founding partners on club operations and performance

About you

- Minimum three years' experience in club management, hospitality management or a similar management role
- Strong organisational and people management skills
- Confident and personable, with a strong customer-service focus
- Comfortable working in a busy, social and hands-on environment
- A genuine interest in sport and wellness
- Additional languages would be an advantage
- Must have current working rights in Australia
