Nicholas Scott are working with a leading Australian Law Firm who have an opportunity for an Associate/Senior Associate in their Competition & Regulatory team for either their Sydney or Melbourne office.

Role Overview

We are looking for an Associate or Senior Associate (approximately 3+ years PQE) with a strong background in competition law.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and file competition law merger filings.
- Conduct investigations into cartels and abuse of dominance.
- Represent clients in competition litigation.
- Advise on access regulation and consumer matters.
- Coordinate across teams nationally and internationally.

Qualifications

- Background in competition law (merger clearance, cartel investigations, litigation).
- Experience in access or consumer regulation matters.
- Strong research, drafting, and communication skills.
- Ability to operate across teams nationally and internationally.
