We are seekingenthusiastic and qualified OSHC Educatorsto join us in making a positive impact through promoting curiosity, resilience, and a love of learning in every child.
Our OSHC operates from 6:30 am to 8:30 am (Before School Care) and from 2:30 pm to 6.00 pm (After School Care) each school day. We also offer Vacation Care from 6:30 am to 6:00 pm during school holidays.
This is a casual position, ideal for flexible schedules.
Your Role
- Engage children in age-appropriate play and educational activities
- Assist with mealtimes and daily routines
- Supervise indoor and outdoor play environments
- Support children's wellbeing and encourage positive behaviour
- Collaborate with a passionate team dedicated to making a difference
- Participate in a spiritually vibrant culture that aligns with the College's Christian mission and values.
About You
- A practicing Christian with the ability to actively support and promote the College’s spiritual ethos
- A genuine passion for working with children and enhancing their learning and wellbeingA positive, proactive, and enthusiastic attitude
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Required:
- Certificate, Diploma or studying towards a degree in Education or another ACECQA-approved equivalent (essential)
- Paid Working With Children Check (Blue Card) (essential)
- National Child Safety Certificate (essential)
- First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certifications (or willing to obtain)
- I’M ALERT Food Safety Certificate (Ipswich City Council’s free online training) (or willing to obtain).
