We are currently seeking expressions of interest from motivated Station Hands for our property in Cunnamulla, Queensand. This is a unique opportunity to work with a family owned business with access to large-scale livestock, farming and cropping programs.
About the Role
- Manage and work with livestock
- Use livestock software to record livestock movements, weights, and treatments
- Paddock rotations and pasture management
- General farm duties including fencing, water runs, general maintenance/labouring
- Operate farming machinery and carry out regular maintenance
- Use of agricultural chemicals
What We’re Looking For
- Demonstrated experience in livestock handling (Sheep) and farm machinery operation
- A sound knowledge and understanding of the use of Agricultural chemicals
- A current driver’s licence (HR licence preferred)
- Basic machinery experience (preferred but not essential)
- A history of being self-motivated and a reliable team player
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Valuable communication and team player
- Physically fit and enjoy working outdoors
- A positive, can-do attitude and commitment to safe work practices
