About the Role
Design the System. Lead the Discipline. Build Operational Excellence.
We are seeking a strategic and operationally strong Warehouse Manager to lead and elevate our warehouse operations at our Huntingwood Head Office.
This is a leadership role focused on:
- Warehouse layout optimisation
- Policy and procedure formalisation
- Inventory accuracy and security
- ERP system discipline and data integrity
- Process systemisation and flow optimisation
- Operational leadership and team development

Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Strategy & Layout
- Design and implement optimal warehouse layout to maximise space utilisation and minimise travel time
- Develop slotting strategies aligned to product velocity and characteristics
- Establish pick-face replenishment systems to ensure uninterrupted production supply
- Design lean material flow that reduces handling and congestion
- Plan future logistics and delivery infrastructure capability
Policy, Procedure & System Discipline
- Develop and implement structured SOPs across receiving, put-away, picking, dispatch and cycle counting
- Ensure all stock movements are accurately recorded in the ERP system in real time
- Establish performance KPIs and reporting frameworks
- Drive solid system governance and eliminate manual or paper-based processes
Inventory Accuracy & Control
- Take full accountability for inventory accuracy across all product lines
- Achieve and maintain 98–99%+ inventory accuracy
- Implement robust cycle counting and variance investigation procedures
- Establish controls for high-value and controlled materials
- Design stocktake processes that minimise operational disruption
Operational Excellence
- Oversee inbound goods (including overseas shipments) and allocate materials efficiently
- Align warehouse output with production schedules
- Manage courier, freight and dispatch performance
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Implement lean warehousing practices including 5S and visual management
Leadership & Safety
- Lead, mentor and develop the warehouse team
- Embed accountability, discipline and continuous improvement culture
- Ensure full WHS compliance and safe work practices
- Manage warehouse equipment and preventative maintenance programs
Skills & Experience
Essential:
- 7+ years’ progressive warehouse or logistics management experience
- Proven experience designing warehouse systems and implementing procedures
- Solid ERP/WMS capability (Ostendo highly regarded)
- Demonstrated success achieving 98%+ inventory accuracy
- Strong leadership and team development capability
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- LF Forklift Licence
- Strong WHS knowledge
Desirable:
- Manufacturing or project-based environment experience
- Lean / 5S implementation
- Exposure to fleet or logistics planning
- Formal qualifications in supply chain or operations
