Opal Consulting Group has partnered with several UG mines in NSW and we are on the look out for experienced operators with previous mining experience to join our clients.

- $65-$85 / hour depending on experience

Currently we are looking for Charge Up Operators for a site in regional NSW.

The role:

- Production Charge Up & Development including upholes & downholes
- Blast prep and post-blast inspections, firing & tie-ins
- Operating various charging equipment
- Close collaboration & engagement with production & development crews
- Inspecting work areas, identifying hazards and ensuring all work is completed safely
- Charge up of headings, stopes & rises in an effient and safe manner




- Following site procedures in transporting, storing & handling explosives as well as stock control
- Maintain and advocate for high safety and operational standards

About you:

- Previous experience in Charge Up or Shotfiring in an UG mining workplace
- Demonstrated background in UG blasting activities
- Experience working in production or development within UG mining
- Currently holds or ability to obtain a National Police Clearance
- Current Shotfirer's Licence or ability to obtain one
- Be willing to undertake and pass a drug & alcohol screen and mandatory pre-employment checks
