5+ years of experience in DNS operations/support, with at least 2–3 years at L3 level
Solid hands‑on experience with BIND (open‑source DNS)
Deep understanding of
· DNS protocol internals
· Authoritative vs Recursive DNS
· TTL, caching behavior, and query resolution flow
Strong Linux/Unix system administration experience
Strong networking fundamentals
· TCP/IP, UDP
· Latency and routing behavior
Nice to Have Skills:
ï· Experience with Anycast DNS deployments ï· Exposure to other DNS software: Unbound, PowerDNS, Knot DNS ï· Automation and scripting (Shell, Python, Ansible)
