· Requirements Gathering & Story Writing o Proficiency in capturing API/Integration-centric requirements from business stakeholders o Writing explicit, testable user stories and acceptance criteria in Jira

· Stakeholder Communication o Translate technical API/Integration concepts into business-friendly language (optional)

o Act as liaison between product owners, engineering, QA, and external partners

· Process Modelling o Create and interpret data flows, sequence diagrams, and integration maps o Identify upstream/downstream dependencies

· API/Integration Concepts & Tooling o Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, XML, HTTP status codes o Hands-on experience with Postman, Swagger (OpenAPI), and API documentation tools o Understanding of API versioning, security (OAuth, API keys), throttling, etc.

· Azure DevOps o Using Azure Boards for backlog refinement and sprint planning o Familiarity with Azure Pipelines and release workflows o Managing work items, queries, and dashboards

· Integration Knowledge o Familiar with Azure API Management (APIM), Logic Apps,



Function Apps or Service Bus o Understand integration patterns and data transformation concepts

· Data Skills o Ability to read/write SQL queries for data validation or reporting o Comfortable working with logs or payloads for troubleshooting

· DevOps & Cloud Awareness o Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment stages (Dev → QA → Prod)

o Awareness of infrastructure-as-code, containers (Docker), and microservices o Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools (e.g., Azure Monitor, App Insights)

· Soft Skills o Analytical thinking and attention to detail o Adaptability in fast-moving Agile environments o Strong verbal and written communication o Proactive problem-solving and critical thinking
