This role is responsible for ensuring development activities meet Shoalhaven Water requirements and standards, providing advice and support to customers and industry stakeholders, contributing to infrastructure projects, and maintaining policies and procedures that support best practice, legislative compliance, and effective risk management. This includes:
- Provide advice to development applicants and/or their agents on requirements, policies, processes, and procedures for their proposed development.
- Undertake assessment of development applications and complying development certificates within adopted guidelines and propose conditions that ensure compliance within adopted policies and legislation.
- Undertake assessment of proposed water and sewer designs to ensure compliance with adopted standards/guidelines.

The advertised salary is based on the grade of the position, comprising of 4 steps within the range shown. The starting salary is at Step 1 within the grade. Progression through the salary steps shall be based upon the achievement of performance objectives relating to the position.
About You
To be successful in the position, you will have:
- Graduate Bachelor of Engineering (Civil/Environmental)
- Eligibility for membership of the Institute of Engineers Australia
- Minimum 2 years full time experience working in the water industry involving system investigation, design or operations.
- Class C Driver's License
- Proof of Australian residency or citizenship, or the authority to work in Australia (visa)

You will be a team player who can apply policies and standards effectively while delivering quality outcomes in a collaborative environment.
