About the Client:

Join a leading councils committed to providing sustainable and productive waste collection services across Melbourne. They pride themselves on our dedication to environmental responsibility and our supportive team environment. Part Time roles are also available in the Northern suburbs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate side loader waste trucks to collect and transport waste and recyclables from residential and commercial areas.
- Ensure timely and efficient completion of collection routes.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and basic maintenance to ensure roadworthiness.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and traffic regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients and the public.

Requirements:

- Valid Heavy Rigid (HR) driver's license. (essential)
- Proven experience operating side loader waste trucks or similar vehicles.
- Minimum 1-2 years of side loader waste truck operating experience required.




- Strong understanding of safety procedures and protocols in waste collection.
- Ability to work early morning shifts and overtime as required.
- Must be available to start work at 5:00 AM for early morning shifts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical fitness to handle the demands of the role.
- Must have valid Australian work rights.
