The Role

- Manage day-to-day kitchen operations, including staffing, scheduling, ordering, and inventory
- Lead and run service, setting the pace and standard on the line
- Plan, cost, and execute menus for daily service, private events, and weddings
- Oversee catering and wedding events from planning through execution, working closely with the events and front-of-house teams
- Support, guide, and mentor the Sous Chef, Line Cooks, and kitchen staff
- Maintain food cost, labour cost, and margins in line with budget targets
- Ensure food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards are upheld across the kitchen
- Maintain and refine seasonal menus and specials, bringing creativity and consistency to the offering
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-run kitchen environment

What You Bring

- 4+ years cooking experience in a professional kitchen, including experience in a senior or leadership role
- Food Safe certification
- Proven ability to manage kitchen operations, budgets, and a team




- Experience planning and executing catering or event menus, ideally including weddings
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to stay calm and lead effectively in a rapid-paced, high-volume environment
- Passion for refined, made-in-house cooking, quality ingredients, and mentoring a team
- Knowledge and passion for world food and culture always a plus
