APG Workforce is currently seeking an experienced Road Worker to join a local government team based at the Murrurundi Depot.

- Location: Murrurundi Depot
- Pay Rate: $45.45 per hour + Super
- Start: ASAP, pending checks
- Duration: 3 months, with possibility of extension
- Hours: 9-day fortnight | Monday RDO

What you will be doing:

- General roadwork and labouring duties
- Assisting with road maintenance and construction activities
- Operating small plant equipment as required
- Responding to incidents and call-outs as part of a roster
- Working safely as part of a team
- Occasional travel for natural disaster response works
- May occasionally involve working away for a specific event on a 9-day fortnight, then returning home for 3 days

Requirements:

- Previous labouring experience
- Construction White Card – essential
- Traffic Control ticket – highly regarded
- Previous small plant operating experience – highly regarded
- Ability to work outdoors and undertake physical labour
- Reliable and safety-focused
- Ability to participate in a 9-day fortnight and call-out roster
- Must be able to successfully complete abackground/police check
