Part-Time Aviation Protection Officer

Location: Port Hedland Airport, WA

Are you looking for a rewarding role in the aviation security industry? Join our team as a Part-Time Aviation Protection Officer at Port Hedland Airport and play an important role in maintaining the safety and security of airport operations.

What We Offer

- Level 2 Pay Grade: $29.24 per hour
- Superannuation
- Shift loading penalties where applicable
- Adaptable part-time hours
- Full training provided, including: Certificate II in Transport Security Protection On-the-Job Training (OJT) ASIC card costs covered by us

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct aviation security screening in accordance with regulatory requirements
- Monitor access control points and restricted areas
- Perform passenger, baggage, and vehicle screening
- Respond professionally to security incidents and emergencies
- Deliver excellent customer service while maintaining security standards




- Follow all workplace health, safety, and security procedures

Essential Requirements

- Have valid Australian work rights
- Be able to successfully pass a Drug and Alcohol test
- Be eligible to obtain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) (company-funded)
- Be reliable, professional, and able to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays
- Have strong communication and customer service skills
- Be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Desirable

- Previous experience in security, aviation, customer service, or a similar role (not essential)
- Master Licence 41299
