Guidewire Business Analyst / Guidewire Technical Business Analyst
Location: St Kilda Rd, Melbourne

About the role
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst / Technical Business Analyst to support a large-scale Guidewire implementation within a General Insurance environment. The role will work across business and technology teams to understand requirements, design practical solutions and support successful delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Facilitate workshops and engage stakeholders to understand business and technical requirements.
- Document business requirements, functional specifications, user stories and acceptance criteria and maintain delivery documentation using tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Develop process maps and identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to Agile ceremonies and delivery activities.
- Perform data analysis, data mapping and support data migration activities.




- Define API and system integration requirements.
- Work with technology teams and vendors to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Support solution design, testing, implementation and defect resolution.
- Work closely with business users to support UAT and change activities.

Key Skills & Experience

- Strong Business Analyst / Technical BA experience in enterprise environments.
- Experience with Guidewire InsuranceSuite, including PolicyCenter, BillingCenter or ClaimCenter, highly desirable.
- General Insurance experience preferred.
- Strong requirements elicitation, process modelling and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with APIs, REST, JSON, XML and system integrations.
- Understanding of data mapping and analysis.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
- Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
