- Salary ranges from $133,348.00 to $146,945.00+ super& leave loading

About the Role

As a Senior Project Officer – Information Management with NSW Resources, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering technology and information management initiatives that support the safe, sustainable and efficient management of the state's resources sector. Working across a diverse portfolio of business-critical projects, you will lead the planning, coordination and delivery of system improvements that enhance business performance, streamline processes and enable better decision making across NSW Resources.

In this dynamic and collaborative role, you will manage complex projects from concept through to implementation, balancing competing priorities while engaging stakeholders at all levels. You will provide expert advice, oversee project governance, manage risks and support organisational change, ensuring projects deliver measurable benefits, quality outcomes and lasting value. This is an exciting opportunity to influence the future of digital systems and services while contributing to outcomes that support regional communities and industries across New South Wales.

About You

We are seeking a highly motivated and collaborative project qualified who can translate business needs into practical technology solutions and successfully deliver complex projects in changing environments. You are an effective communicator who can build trusted relationships, navigate competing priorities and drive outcomes through strong planning, problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills.

As our ideal candidate, you will bring:

- Demonstrated experience managing technology, information management or business systems projects from initiation through to implementation
- Experience delivering software implementation projects, including Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions
- Knowledge of agile, hybrid or contemporary project delivery methodologies
- Strong stakeholder management, communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences




- Experience developing project plans, governance frameworks, business cases and reporting mechanisms
- The ability to manage project risks, dependencies and competing priorities while maintaining focus on quality outcomes
- Experience supporting business improvement, service management or process optimisation initiatives
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to develop evidence-based recommendations
- A collaborative approach with a commitment to integrity, customer service and continuous improvement
- Exposure to ServiceNow, including project delivery, implementation or business improvement initiatives, is advantageous but not essential
- Compliance with pre-employment probity screening is mandatory and a condition of engagement.
