Practical performance improvements are embedded into daily execution to ensure fleet performance is systematically engineered.Role Description The Maintenance Planner is a part time, hybrid role based in Perth, WA, with flexibility for some work from home. In this role, the individual plans, schedules, and coordinates maintenance activities for heavy mobile and fixed assets to support reliability and fleet performance goals. Daily tasks include developing maintenance plans, preparing work orders, coordinating with supervisors and technicians, and ensuring required parts, tools, and documentation are available before execution.
The role involves analyzing maintenance data, prioritizing corrective and preventive work, and updating asset maintenance records in line with planning discipline standards. Collaboration with operations and maintenance teams is essential to reduce unplanned downtime, improve maintenance efficiency, and support continuous improvement initiatives.Qualifications Strong Maintenance Planning and Planning skills for scheduling, work preparation, and prioritization.Experience with Equipment Maintenance and Maintenance Management for heavy mobile and fixed assets.Supervisory Skills to coordinate maintenance teams and align daily activities with site requirements.Knowledge of reliability or asset management principles, ideally in mining, resources, or heavy industry.Proficiency with CMMS/ERP systems and basic data analysis for maintenance reporting and performance tracking.Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work in a hybrid environment.Relevant trade qualification or technical diploma/degree in engineering, maintenance, or a related field is preferred.Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement in maintenance practices.
