A Grade Heating & Cooling Pty Ltd is a locally owned and operated South Australian business specialising in residential heating, cooling and electrical services across Adelaide's northern, eastern and western suburbs.

Due to continued growth, we're looking for an experienced Refrigeration Mechanic / Air Conditioning Technician to join our team on a full-time basis.

About the Role

You'll be working across a variety of residential air conditioning and refrigeration jobs, including installations, servicing, fault finding, repairs and commissioning.

Your day-to-day work will include:

- Servicing, fault finding and repairing residential air conditioning systems

- Installing split systems, ducted reverse cycle systems and evaporative cooling systems

- Diagnosing refrigeration, electrical and mechanical faults

- Installing, testing and commissioning current systems

- Working with residential ducted zoning systems

- Conducting preventative maintenance and system inspections

- Refrigerant recovery, handling and charging in accordance with relevant regulations

- Testing system performance and identifying potential issues

- Completing job cards, service reports and customer documentation

- Providing customers with professional advice regarding system operation, maintenance and energy efficiency

- Maintaining a clean and safe worksite

- Working safely and in accordance with Australian Standards and workplace safety requirements

- Working independently while also being part of a supportive team

What We're Looking For

Essential

- Qualified Cert III Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Mechanic





- Current ARC Refrigerant Handling Licence

- Current Australian Driver's Licence

- Minimum 3 years' experience preferred

- Strong refrigeration and electrical fault-finding skills

- Positive understanding of residential air conditioning systems

- Ability to diagnose faults and find practical solutions

- Excellent communication and customer service skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship

- Professional presentation

- Reliable, punctual and organised

- Ability to work at heights and in roof spaces when required

- Commitment to workplace safety

Highly Regarded

- Restricted Electrical Licence or full A Grade Electrical Licence

- Experience with Fujitsu, Daikin, Mitsubishi Electric, Panasonic or similar brands

- Experience with residential ducted zoning systems

- Experience with commissioning new installations

- Experience with advanced diagnostic equipment

- Working with Children's Check or Police Clearance

- Additional electrical or industry qualifications
