Italian Club Incorporation Annual salary: $75,000 to $80,000 plus superannuation Type: Permanent, Full Time Description: Located in West Perth, 1934 Trattoria is a vibrant and well-known Italian restaurant within the iconic W.A. Italian Club. The restaurant is now seeking a full-time Cook to join its kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of full time experience, preferably in Italian cuisine, together with a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or an equivalent qualification and must be able to:

- Prepare and cook meals in line with the restaurant standards
- Prepare and cook meals for special events and additions functions, adjusting the dishes accordingly with the dietary needs of the customers;
- Ensure the quality of raw ingredients and foodstuff in general
- operate in efficient manner ovens,



grills and other cooking equipment regulating temperatures
- seasoning food while cooking
- portioning and place food on a plate adding garnish and sauces if required
- preserve and freeze food and ingredients to store
- Maintain and operate the kitchen in a clean, sanitary, and safe manner.

These include Cleaning of the kitchen and kitchen supplies and utensils on a regular basis;

- Support the ordering of food and supplies
- Being able to care for food supplies and leftovers appropriately
- Prepare main, entrees, and desserts
- Developing menu suggestions for meal planning
- Proceeding with cleaning and defrosting of the refrigerator on a monthly basis
- Diligently check on store food and supplies are delivered
- Able to maintain a clean and neat appearance in line with the organization's standards;
