Narrogin Toyota and Mazda is a superior regional dealership and we're looking for an experienced Diagnostic Technician to join our growing service team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled technician with strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities who takes pride in their work.

THE POSITION:

- Provide expert advice in relation to mechanical condition of vehicles
- Mechanical vehicle repair and servicing including engine, transmission, body and suspension components.
- Report all necessary work, service or repairs to the Advisors and record information using service reporting systems including Super Service Triage
- Test driving and conducting final assessments prior to return of vehicles to the customer
- Maintaining a safe working environment
- Other general workshop duties where required

We are looking for candidates who have a high desire to succeed in the automotive industry, with a strong motivation and drive to excel in the field. Candidates should also be personable, with a friendly and approachable demeanour that allows them to build positive relationships with both customers and colleagues. Additionally, a strong ability to multitask is important, with the capability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and effectively while maintaining a high standard of work.

ABOUT YOU:

- Cert III or higher qualification as a Light Vehicle Mechanic, plus experience as a Qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic in a workshop environment.
- Minimum 2 years' experience, with Toyota and or Mazda experience highly regarded.
- Ability to remain calm and focussed whilst producing a high standard of work in a fast-paced environment.
- Results driven with a strong eye for detail and technical ability
- Strong Leadership and Communication Skills
- Reliable, Conscientious, adaptable and customer focussed
- The ability to lead and communicate effectively
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Solid knowledge of all relevant Health and Safety regulations
- Valid Full Manual Driver's License is essential
- Valid Australian Working Rights
