Working closely with your Repair Coordinator, you'll coordinate trades, solve building issues and make sure repairs are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
The role is primarily based in our Rose Park office, with site visits as required and the flexibility to work from home. You'll have plenty of autonomy while being backed by an experienced and supportive team.
About you
You may already be an experienced Building Supervisor, or you could be a qualified tradesperson or construction professional ready to move into supervision.

- Is confident using technology and navigating digital systems.
- Takes ownership of their work while contributing to a supportive team.
- Takes pride in delivering quality work and a great customer experience.
Previous insurance repair experience is highly regarded but isn't essential.
What you’ll be doing
This is primarily an office-based supervisory role, combining digital job management with site visits and the flexibility to also combine it with work from home. You'll manage your portfolio through CRA systems and insurer platforms, while attending sites as required to oversee works, resolve issues and ensure repairs are progressing as expected.
As a Building Supervisor, you'll:
- Plan and manage residential insurance repair works through to completion.
- Attend sites to oversee works, assess progress and resolve building issues.
- Coordinate and provide direction to trades and subcontractors.
- Monitor workmanship, quality, progress and site safety.
- Liaise with homeowners, insurance representatives, trades and internal teams.
- Manage jobs through CRA systems and insurer portals, keeping information, documentation and progress up to date.
- Complete reports, job notes and other required documentation accurately and within required timeframes.
- Manage jobs against budgets, contractual requirements and KPIs.
- Work closely with your Repair Coordinator to keep jobs progressing.
- Ensure WHS requirements and safe work practices are maintained.
What you'll need
- Recent experience in residential construction, building repairs or a relevant trade.
- A trade qualification or equivalent practical building experience.
- Current White Card.
- Current unrestricted Australian driver's licence.
- National Police Clearance or willingness to obtain one.
- An understanding of the Building Code of Australia.
Building Supervisor registration and previous residential insurance repair experience are highly regarded but not essential.
What's on offer?
We understand that flexibility is an important part of maintaining a healthy work-life balance, and we aim to provide flexibility across your working week.
- Company vehicle and fuel card.
- Microsoft Surface and mobile phone.
- Hybrid flexibility between sites, our Rose Park office and WFH.
- Full paid training and ongoing development.
- Dedicated office-based Repair Coordinator support.
- Attractive salary package based on experience.
- Employee Assistance Program for you and your immediate family.
- A supportive team that genuinely enjoys working together.
- Long-term career opportunities within a growing national business.
