Departing from Perth, you'll fly directly to Plutonic, arriving within 90 minutes of departure. Once onsite, you'll be accommodated in a well-established camp with modern ensuite rooms, Wi-Fi, gym, pool and recreational facilities.

The Role

As Catalyst Metals continues to grow and expand its operations, an exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced ROM Loader Operator to join our Processing team.

Reporting to the Process Supervisor and working an 8:6 / 7:7 roster, you will play a key role in supporting efficient plant operations by ensuring the correct ore blend is safely delivered to the crusher and ROM activities are managed effectively.

Working closely with the Process team and other site personnel, you'll contribute to a safe, productive and well-coordinated operation while becoming part of a growing and supportive team.

Key Responsibilities

- Feed the correct ore blend into the crusher in accordance with operational requirements.





- Push up and manage ore stockpiles delivered from mining operations.

- Manage and direct traffic movements on the ROM in accordance with the site's Traffic Management Plan.

- Conduct thorough pre-start inspections and promptly report equipment defects.

- Liaise with water cart operators and support crews to maintain safe and efficient ROM operations.

- Accurately record ore movements and production data.

- Operate additional equipment such as rock breakers and excavators where required.

- Maintain loader cleanliness and ensure equipment remains in a safe operating condition.

- Communicate effectively via two-way radio and report hazards, incidents and near misses in a timely manner.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Experience operating ROM loaders in a mining environment.

- Current WA C Class Driver's Licence.

- Strong commitment to workplace safety.

- Good communication skills and ability to work within a team environment.

- Reliable and proactive approach to work.

Highly Regarded

- Excavator and/or rock breaker operating experience.

- First Aid Certificate.

- Understanding of mining safety legislation and operational compliance requirements.
