We're looking for a skilled and motivated Machine Operator to become an integral part of our manufacturing team. This hands-on role is responsible for operating a range of CNC equipment, managing raw material storage, and ensuring production runs efficiently, safely and to the highest quality standards.
Working in a modern manufacturing environment, you'll play a key role in producing quality sheet metal components while helping keep our workshop organised and productive.
About the Role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Setting and operating CNC laser cutter
- Setting and operating turret punch press
- Setting and operating CNC lathes
- Operating CNC bandsaw
- Selecting and preparing raw materials for production
- Organising and maintaining raw material storage
- Monitoring machine performance and product quality
- Performing routine machine maintenance
- Reading engineering drawings and work instructions
- Assisting with continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment

Skills & Experience
Ideally you will have:
- Experience operating CNC laser cutters and turret punches
- Experience with CNC lathes
- Experience operating CNC bandsaws
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Forklift licence
- Experience using measuring equipment
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Good computer literacy
