Food and Beverage Duty Manager
About the role:
Reporting to the Executive Assistant Manager i/c Food & Beverage, the Food & Beverage Duty Manager is to support, assist and lead the Food & Beverage team in delivering a positive experience across a number of venues whilst meeting the hotels business objectives. This is a fantastic opportunity with great potential for the right person, to have input in a hotel that has a number of exciting dining options.
Key aspects of the role include:
- With exceptional presentation and communication skills will take a hands on attitude in driving restaurant and bar operations and resolve issues when required.
- Take an active role in training and developing team members.
- Lead a dynamic and motivated team with the ability to multi task at all times.
- Assist in ordering, beverage inventory control and supporting the hotels operating point of sale systems.
- Oversee the manpower and rostering controls and adjust as required.
- Provide operational support to the Banquet and Events service team.
- Display an entrepreneurial style of leadership with drive ensuring an effective Food and Beverage management team.
- Work as part of the venue leadership team to instill a culture of superior customer service leaving the customer 'wanting more'
About you:
As a self-motivated, passionate and focused individual you will possess the following attributes:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a Food & Beverage leadership position.
- Extensive food and wine knowledge – local and international.
- Immaculate presentation paralleled with your service delivery.
- Ability to share your knowledge, train, manage and mentor both restaurant and bar staff.
- An enormous passion for providing guests with exceptional service.
- Keen interest in craft beers, premium spirits, wines and proficient coffee skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Professional, personable and driven.
- Strong team player.
A current Western Australian Approved Managers Liquor Licence is required.
Must be eligible to work full time in Australia, be a permanent resident or citizen.
A National Police Certificate will be requested for this role.
