We are looking for an experienced State Business Development Manager – Foodservice to take responsibility for our WA and SA markets.

This is a genuine business development and growth role for someone who knows the foodservice industry, has established relationships across the WA trade and enjoys getting out in the market, developing customers and winning new business.

About the Role

Reporting to the National Business Manager – Out of Home, you will be responsible for growing Sara Lee's foodservice business across WA and SA.

You will manage and grow existing distributor and customer relationships while actively identifying and securing new business across hospitality, QSR, catering, cafés, hotels, institutions and other foodservice channels.

A key part of the role will be working closely with our distributor partners and their sales teams to increase Sara Lee's representation, distribution and product penetration across the market.

You will develop and execute territory plans, build strong customer relationships, identify opportunities, negotiate new business and ensure opportunities are converted into sustainable sales.

This is a hands-on role requiring regular customer visits and travel throughout WA and SA.

Key Responsibilities

- Drive sales growth across WA and SA.

- Manage and grow key customer and distributor relationships.

- Identify and secure new business opportunities across the Foodservice channel.





- Build strong relationships with distributor sales teams to grow Sara Lee's range and distribution.

- Develop territory plans and identify opportunities to increase ranging and market share.

- Execute promotions, NPD launches, customer presentations and trade activities.

- Manage pricing, forecasting, CRM and customer claims within agreed guidelines.

- Provide market insights and work closely with the National Business Manager to deliver growth.

About You

- Minimum 5 years' Foodservice sales experience in a similar BDM role.

- Established relationships across the WA Foodservice and distributor market.

- Proven track record in new business development and account growth.

- Strong distributor management and negotiation skills.

- Commercially minded with excellent communication and presentation skills.

- Self-motivated and comfortable managing a large territory.

- Strong CRM and Microsoft Office skills.

- Genuine passion for the Foodservice industry.
