We are looking for an HSEQ Officer to join our Perth Manufacturing facility – ATCO’s largest manufacturing facility in Australia.

This is a great opportunity for someone in the early stages of their HSEQ career who is looking to learn, develop and build their career within a supportive and experienced team.

You’ll be highly visible across the facility, working with everyone from trades and labourers on the floor through to supervisors and senior management. We’re looking for someone approachable, personable and confident, particularly when presenting safety information to large groups.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Supporting supervisors and employees with day-to-day HSEQ requirements.

- Building strong relationships across the manufacturing floor.

- Assisting with inspections, risk assessments, incident investigations and corrective actions.

- Supporting HSEQ administration, reporting and documentation.

- Assisting with the delivery of toolbox talks, safety information and presentations to groups of up to 150 employees.

- Assisting with audits,



compliance activities and continuous improvement.

- Working closely with the wider HSEQ team and taking direction from experienced HSEQ professionals.

What You’ll Bring

- Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety or a relevant HSEQ qualification.

- Some experience within HSEQ, safety, manufacturing, construction or a similar operational environment.

- Confidence presenting and speaking in front of large groups is essential.

- Strong interpersonal skills with an approachable, down-to-earth communication style.

- Ability to build relationships with people at all levels, from the manufacturing floor through to senior management.

- Willingness to learn, take direction and develop your HSEQ career.

- Good administration skills and confidence using Microsoft Office.

- Current Driver’s Licence and Construction White Card

- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment would be highly regarded.

You may currently be a Safety Coordinator, Graduate Safety Advisor or junior HSEQ professional ready to take the next step.
