As we continue to grow, we’re seeking a capable and highly organised Supply Chain Coordinator – Supplier & Part Development to join our team in Holden Hill.

This is a hands-on role supporting procurement, supplier and part development, supplier coordination and inventory activities within a manufacturing environment. You will work closely with suppliers and our Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality and Finance teams to ensure materials are available when required, new parts and suppliers are developed effectively, and supply risks are identified and resolved before they impact production or customer delivery.

Fluency in both Mandarin and English is required for this position, as the role involves regular communication and coordination with Mandarin-speaking suppliers.

The Role

Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you will be coordinate purchasing, supplier coordination, supplier and part development, and inventory activities supporting manufacturing operations, engineering projects and new product introductions.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Raising and managing purchase orders and expediting suppliers to meet production requirements

- Communicating directly with Mandarin-speaking suppliers regarding orders, quotations, technical requirements, lead times, delivery schedules, quality matters and supply issues

- Coordinating new part and supplier development from initial sourcing through sampling,



validation and production readiness

- Driving supplier follow-up on prototypes, samples, tooling, first-off parts, corrective actions and production readiness

- Tracking supplier and new-part development milestones and escalating risks or delays

- Monitoring inventory levels and coordinating replenishment to minimise material shortages

- Maintaining accurate purchasing, supplier and inventory information within the ERP system

- Supporting supplier performance monitoring, KPI reporting and supplier reviews

- Working across Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality and Finance to resolve procurement, supplier and inventory issues

- Maintaining accurate and audit-ready procurement and supplier documentation

- Identifying opportunities to improve purchasing processes, inventory accuracy and overall supply chain efficiency

About You

You will be comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where priorities can change and attention to detail matters. You will take ownership, follow up suppliers proactively and be equally comfortable managing day-to-day purchasing requirements and progressing the development of new parts and sources of supply.

To be successful, you will ideally bring:

- Fluent Mandarin and English language skills,



both written and verbal

- Experience in procurement, purchasing or supply chain coordination within a manufacturing, engineering or similar technical environment

- Demonstrated experience in supplier sourcing, supplier development and/or new part development

- A qualification in Business, Supply Chain or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience

- Good knowledge of purchasing and inventory management principles

- Experience using ERP systems, with SAP experience highly regarded

- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills

- Strong organisational, supplier and stakeholder communication skills

- Excellent attention to detail and a practical, analytical approach to resolving supply chain issues
