What you'll be doing

- Inspect, service and repair fixed plant equipment and machinery
- Troubleshoot faults and minimize downtime through proactive repairs
- Use specialized tools and diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot complex problems and make accurate repairs.
- Perform regular schedule preventive maintenance and safety checks
- Support new equipment installations and project upgrades
- Collaborate across teams and assist other trades when needed





What you'll bring

- Trade certificate - Plant/Fitter Mechanic
- Experience with waste assets, compactors or mobile plant is essential (Forklift/Compactor)
- Robust fault-finding and repair skills
- Reliable, with the ability to work independently and in a team
- Physically capable
