Some of the responsibilities for Maintenance/Carpenter Person include:

We are seeking a Maintenance/Carpenter Person to join our team and help ensure our Estate is in top condition for our guests. You will be responsible for responding to estate projects and maintenance requests , carrying out preventative maintenance tasks, and maintaining accurate records.

- Respond to maintenance requests.

- Carpentry background preferred.

- Carry out preventative maintenance tasks.

- Perform routine inspection of all public areas and plant repairs & maintenance as required.

- Attend to, and report any malfunctions on plant and equipment as situations arise.

- Attend to all guest and colleague requests in a timely and professional manner.





- Carry out a range of maintenance and repair work to areas throughout the Estate.

- Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure functionality and safety.

- Uphold high standards of safety and compliance with regulations.

- Pool testing and maintenance.

- Maintain cleanliness and organization in public areas, guest accommodations, and facilities.

- Monitor plant operations and conduct regular plant inspections during your shift

- Assist other trades in the completion of tasks as required.

- Completing any other maintenance tasks as directed by Maintenance Manager or Maintenance Team Leader.

Requirements for the position:

- Proven experience in the related fields, a trade qualified would be advantageous.

- Solid knowledge of general repair techniques and tools.

- The ability to create a positive first impression when interacting with guests and fellow colleagues.

- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work unsupervised.

- Exceptional interpersonal communication skills with advanced proficiency of the English language.

- Clear thinking and problem-solving skills.

- Self-motivated, driven and energized in a fast-paced environment.t

- Armed with smart solutions and a can-do attitude.

- A level of customer service skills along with excellent service resolution skills.

- The flexibility to work on a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays as and when required between 7am - 7pm.

- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

- Physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks that may involve heavy lifting or manual labour.

- The ability to work and foster connections in a team environment.
