Reporting to the Head of Projects & Commercial Delivery, you will play a key role in supporting project managers throughout the full project lifecycle, from initiation through to closeout. You will coordinate activities across engineering, procurement, workshop and project teams ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on time and within scope.

About the Role

- Support Project Managers in the delivery of capital projects
- Coordinate project documentation, schedules and procurement tracking and reporting
- Maintain project registers, records, action logs and risk registers
- Liaise with engineering, procurement and workshop teams to support build, testing and dispatch activities
- Facilitate communication between internal stakeholders, suppliers and clients.
- Monitor project progress and ensure information remains accurate and up to date
- Assist with cost control, project administration and document management activities
- Support continuous improvement of project systems, processes and documentation

Transmin is seeking a proactive detail-orientated professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will possess strong organizational skills and enjoy coordinating multiple stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.

Skills

- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Project Coordinator or similar role
- Diploma or Degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business or related discipline, or equivalent demonstrate experience
- Familiarity with project management methodologies such as PMBOK, PRINCE2 or Agile will be advantageous
- Experience within engineering, manufacturing, mining or industrial project environments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
- Experience using Microsoft Project and Adobe Acrobat
- Understanding of commercial contracts and cost control principles
- Exposure to ERP systems (experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Centra highly regarded)
