SAHR is seeking Expressions of Interest from Engineers and Technical Specialists for full time permanent opportunities supporting current and upcoming Defence and Federal Government programs. We partner with government agencies, prime contractors, and industry leaders to deliver specialised engineering, technical, and project delivery capability across some of Australia's most complex and strategically significant programs.

The Opportunity

As part of SAHR's growing Program & Technical service line, you will contribute to the delivery of Federal Government and Defence capability programs across capability definition, acquisition, certification, verification and validation, delivery, integration, sustainment and engineering assurance activities.

Our engagements provide the opportunity to work closely with Defence stakeholders, program offices, capability managers, and industry partners on critical national capability initiatives.

We are actively interested in professionals with experience across:

- Systems Engineering

- Systems Safety and Safety Engineering

- Explosive Ordnance Engineering

- Test and Evaluation

- Engineering Management and Technical Leadership

- Joint Data Networks

- Communications and Network Engineering

- Telecommunications Engineering

- Configuration Management

- Technical Certification and Assurance

- Capability Definition and Requirements Development

- Engineering Governance and Risk Management

- Integrated Capability and Systems Integration Programs

- Defence Acquisition and Sustainment

Who We’re Looking For

We are keen to speak with candidates at the following levels:

- Senior Consultant (2–5 years experience)

- Manager (5+ years experience)

About You

You will bring:

- A Bachelor of Engineering in Aerospace, Chemical, Electrical,



Electronics, Software, Mechanical or Mechatronics

- Experience in one or more of:

- Defence or Federal Government environments

- Defence Industry Organisations

- Consulting or advisory services

- Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities

- Experience developing engineering artefacts, technical documentation, requirements, or certification evidence

- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills

- The ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary engineering teams

For Configuration Manager positions, an engineering degree is not essential; however, candidates with relevant technical qualifications, industry certifications, or significant configuration management experience are encouraged to apply.

Security Clearance

- NV1 or higher required (Baseline considered depending on role and project)
