About Us:

Carpets By Design Commercial & Domestic Flooring PTY LTD is a growing renovation and flooring business based in Osborne Park. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality workmanship and exceptional service to our commercial and residential clients.

We are currently seeking experienced and reliable Flooring and Carpet Installers (Floor Finisher) to join our team on a full-time or casual basis.

Key Responsibilities:

•⁠ Plan and ⁠measure areas to be covered to estimate quantities of floor covering materials required.

•⁠ ⁠Prepare subfloors (grinding, levelling, screeding) before installation.

•⁠ ⁠Install a wide range of flooring materials including carpet, vinyl plank, laminate, hybrid, engineered timber and other resilient flooring materials.

•⁠ ⁠Cut, fit, and install custom stair nosings, trims, and scotia.

•⁠ ⁠Sanding, staining and applying finishing coatings to timber floors.

•⁠ ⁠Uplift and dispose of existing floor coverings when required.

•⁠ ⁠Ensure all jobs are completed to a high standard and leave work sites clean and tidy.

What we are looking for:





•⁠ ⁠Proven experience in carpet laying and/or hard flooring installation.

•⁠ ⁠High attention to detail and pride in your work.

•⁠ ⁠Current Australian Driver’s Licence and reliable transport.

•⁠ ⁠White Card (Construction Induction) is essential.

•⁠ ⁠Physical fitness and a reliable, punctual work ethic.

•⁠ ⁠Certificate III in Flooring Technology is highly regarded but not essential if you have at least two years experience.
