Looking for a role that lets you sleep in your own bed every night?
We're seeking both an experienced Pump Fitter or Machinist to join a well-established OEM manufacturer and service provider with operations across Australia and New Zealand. This is an opportunity to secure long-term Perth-based employment with a company known for quality, innovation, and genuine employment stability.

The Role
Working within a busy service department, you'll be responsible for the overhaul, inspection, refurbishment, and testing of pumps and rotating equipment.
Duties include:
- Stripping and rebuilding pumps
- Inspection and fault diagnosis
- Bearing assembly and fitting
- Precision measurement and quality checks
- Refurbishment and maintenance activities
- Reading technical drawings and maintenance documentation
- Testing and commissioning equipment
- Maintaining high workshop safety and quality standards
About You
We're looking for candidates who have:
- Mechanical Fitter trade qualification (Cert III Mechanical Fitting or Fitter & Turner or equivalent preferred)
- Previous pump rebuild or servicing experience
- Experience working on rotating equipment
- Strong fault-finding and mechanical fitting skills
- Competency using micrometers, verniers and other precision measuring equipment
- Experience working to tight tolerances
- Strong commitment to safety and quality
Highly Regarded
- OEM pump experience
- Slurry pump experience
- Wastewater pump experience
- Manufacturing or engineering workshop background
