Position Overview:
Elite Care Central Coast Pty Ltd is dedicated to enhancing the lives of our community participants. We provide personalized care and support services to empower individuals and enable them to live fulfilling, independent lives. Position Summary:
This is a varied and rewarding role where you will provide high-quality support tailored to each participant's individual needs, goals, preferences and support requirements.

The successful applicant must be flexible and willing to work across the North and South ends of the Central Coast, depending on participant and service requirements.

The role may include:

- Providing personal care and assistance with daily living activities





- Supporting participants with complex behaviours and implementing Behaviour Support Plans

- Supporting participants with psychosocial disabilities and mental health needs

- Providing active overnight support and sleepover shifts

- Working weekends, including Saturday, Sundays and Public Holidays

- Supporting participants in SIL, home and community settings

- Assisting with household tasks and maintaining a safe and supportive workplace

- Supporting community participation, appointments and recreational activities

- Promoting independence, choice, dignity and inclusion

- Maintaining participant privacy, confidentiality and dignity at all times

- Completing accurate and professional progress notes and documentation

- Following individual support plans, Behaviour Support Plans and organisational policies and procedures

We are looking for someone who is experienced, reliable, flexible and genuinely passionate about disability support.

To be successful, you will have:

- Previous experience working as a Disability Support Worker

- Demonstrated experience providing personal care

- Experience supporting people with behavioural support needs

- Experience working with people with mental health and psychosocial disabilities

- A sound understanding of person-centred care





- Ability to understand and follow Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs)

- A strong understanding of participant privacy, confidentiality, dignity and choice

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- The ability to remain calm, professional and supportive in challenging situations

- Strong boundaries and a professional approach to participant relationships

- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

- Excellent reliability and time management

- Willingness to work sleepovers, active overnight shifts and weekends

- Willingness and ability to travel between the North and South ends of the Central Coast

- A current Australian driver's licence and reliable vehicle

Essential Requirements

Applicants must be able to demonstrate:

- NDIS Worker Screening Check

- Working With Children Check

- Current First Aid and CPR

- Relevant disability/individual support qualification

- Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle

- Availability for sleepover and active overnight shifts

- Weekend availability

- Flexibility to work across the Central Coast
