Salary Classification Administration Officer Level 3 (Yr 1-2)Remuneration: $37.28 - $38.44 per hour + superannuation + annual leave loading + salary packaging options

About The Role

The Patient Services Officer is responsible for providing courteous, effective and productive patient support services. This includes running and correcting SDPR reports, patient transport bookings, handling telephone inquiries, providing general clerical support for the clinical team as requested.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain patient medical records to ensure correct data entryProvide accurate, timely clerical support for Clinical Nursing Unit Manager and clinical teamReceive incoming telephone calls. Redirect calls, take and record messages for staff, follow through as necessary

Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminologyDemonstrated communication, organisational and interpersonal skills with an excellent telephone mannerDemonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team in periods of high demand and activityExperience with SDPR and/or Patient Administration SystemsCommitment to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretionDemonstrated commitment to own personal and professional development including update of software application knowledgeCommitment to the Mission, Vision and Values of Calvary and the ability and desire to uphold these at all times
