Job Description
We are hiring a Principal Landscape Architect in our Perth team, who has demonstrated experience and proven ability in leading and contributing towards this range of exciting projects. The successful candidate will be working on a mix of public realm, infrastructure and new communities work with a project design and delivery focus. The role is Brisbane based in Perth but will work collaboratively with our national team.
How you’ll make a difference:
- Lead multidisciplinary landscape architecture for public realm, ‘blue and green’ infrastructure, urban design strategies, greenfield communities and major infrastructure, from concept through construction.
- Drive design excellence, quality assurance and technical governance to meet scope, schedule, budget and client expectations across a diverse portfolio.
- Plan and manage programs, resources and risk; coordinate seamlessly with planners, architects, scientists and engineers across Australia.
- Build and sustain client relationships; prepare high-quality fee proposals and submissions, contributing to pipeline growth and successful project wins.
- Mentor and develop team members, fostering a collaborative,
inclusive culture that shares knowledge and delivers consistent, high-quality outcomes.
Qualifications

The qualities that help you thrive:
- Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture or Urban Design; 10+ years’ post-graduate consulting experience; AILA Registered or progressing toward registration.
- Strong design and technical capability with demonstrated end-to-end delivery across concept, detailed design, documentation and construction phase services.
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and MS Office; exposure to Revit, SketchUp, Lumion and 3D AutoCAD advantageous.
- Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder skills with proven ability to prepare fee proposals, lead bids and maintain productive client relationships.
- Demonstrated leadership of complex, multi-disciplinary projects with commercial acumen, high attention to detail, effective time management and a collaborative, mentoring mindset.
