About the role

IGA Plus Liquor Heyfield is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Team Members on a casual or part-time basis to join our dynamic retail team. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a customer-focused organisation in the heart of Heyfield, VIC 3858. As a Team Member, you will play a vital role in delivering outstanding customer service and maintaining our store to the highest standards. This part-time or casual position offers flexibility whilst contributing to the success of our liquor retail operations.

Key responsibilities

- Providing friendly, productive and professional customer service to all shoppers

- Processing customer transactions accurately using our point-of-sale systems

- Stocking shelves with products, ensuring items are displayed attractively and maintained to company standards

- Maintaining a clean and organised store environment, including till areas and customer-facing spaces

- Assisting with receiving and unpacking deliveries, and checking stock accuracy

- Handling customer enquiries and complaints in a professional and courteous manner

- Following all company policies, procedures and relevant retail regulations

- Supporting the team with various store duties as required

What we're looking for

- Excellent customer service skills with a genuine passion for helping others

- Strong communication abilities and a friendly, approachable demeanor

- Reliability and punctuality, with the ability to commit to scheduled shifts

- Basic numeracy skills and comfort using point-of-sale systems

- Physical capability to lift,



carry and stand for extended periods

- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced retail environment

- A willingness to learn and take on current responsibilities

- Previous retail or customer service experience is advantageous but not essential
