About the role

Brizfix Solutions is seeking an experienced AC and Appliance Technician to join our growing team on a full-time basis in Pimpama, QLD 4209. This is a hands-on technical position where you will be at the forefront of delivering high-quality air conditioning and appliance repair services to our valued customers. You will play a critical role in maintaining our reputation for excellence and customer satisfaction whilst ensuring all work meets safety and industry standards.

Key responsibilities

- Diagnose and repair air conditioning systems, including installation, servicing and maintenance of residential and commercial units

- Perform repairs and maintenance on domestic appliances including refrigerators, washing machines, dishwashers, ovens and other electrical appliances

- Conduct thorough inspections of equipment to identify faults and determine the most cost-effective solutions

- Install new AC systems and appliances in accordance with manufacturer specifications and relevant building codes

- Test repaired and newly installed equipment to ensure proper functionality and safety

- Maintain detailed service records and provide customers with clear explanations of work completed and recommendations for preventative maintenance

- Respond promptly to service calls and manage time efficiently to meet scheduled appointments

- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and work practices relevant to electrical and mechanical systems

- Build and maintain positive customer relationships through professional conduct and quality workmanship

What we're looking for

- Recognised qualifications in refrigeration and air conditioning (RAC)



or electrical trades, with relevant certifications such as a restricted/ fitter Electrician's Licence or equivalent. A full electrical licence will be an added advantage.

- Proven experience of at least 3-5 years working as an AC technician, refrigeration specialist or appliance repair technician

- Full time work rights in Australia are a must.

- Strong technical knowledge of AC systems, refrigeration principles and/or domestic appliance mechanics

- Competency in using diagnostic testing equipment and hand tools safely and effectively

- Current or ability to obtain appropriate licences and certifications required in Queensland.

- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues

- Strong communication skills and a professional, customer-focused approach

- A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation to travel between customer locations

- Physical fitness and willingness to work in varied environments, including confined spaces and heights where necessary

- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry standards and new technologies
