About the role

We're looking for a Parts Manager Assistant to work directly alongside our Parts Manager. This is a broad, hands-on role suited to someone who wants exposure to the whole parts operation rather than one narrow slice of it. You'll be involved in everything from sourcing components and managing stock through to getting parts out the door and helping farmers over the phone.

Key responsibilities

- Assisting with parts procurement — raising purchase orders, following up suppliers, tracking incoming freight

- Receiving stock, checking it against orders, and maintaining accurate inventory records in DEAR / Cin7 Core

- Picking, packing and dispatching spare parts orders to customers and dealers

- Supporting customers by phone and email with parts identification, availability and pricing

- Taking ownership of wear parts production on our automated welding robot — programming and setting up runs, loading and unloading, monitoring quality and consumables, and keeping output ahead of demand

- Assisting with spare parts production scheduling and coordination with the workshop

- Keeping parts documentation, price lists and stock data up to date

- Supporting periodic stocktakes and helping investigate variances

- General workshop and warehouse support, working safely and following our OHS procedures

About you

- Experience in a parts, warehouse,



procurement or inventory role — ideally in agricultural machinery, automotive, heavy vehicle, mining or industrial equipment

- Solid mechanical aptitude and the ability to read parts diagrams and technical drawings

- Comfortable operating production machinery — experience with robotic or automated welding cells is highly regarded, though we'll train the right person on ours

- Confident, friendly phone manner and a genuine focus on looking after customers

- Solid attention to detail with stock records, orders and paperwork

- Comfortable with computers and picking up new systems quickly. Our stack is DEAR / Cin7 Core (inventory and purchasing), Xero (accounts), Monday.com (job and task tracking) and Employment Hero (HR, timesheets and leave). Experience with any of these is well regarded, but we'll train you on the lot.

- Organised and able to juggle competing priorities without dropping things

- Current WA driver's licence

- Forklift licence (or willingness to obtain one)

- Full working rights in Australia
