The Micro Enterprise Project (MEP) initiative is a service within CLP that supports people with disability to create and grow a meaningful, individually designed micro enterprise, giving the person scope to develop their confidence, competencies and career.
About the role
We are seeking a Micro Enterprise Coach to join our team. In this role, you will:
- Inspire and discover, alongside the person, the possibility of operating their own micro enterprise and find their micro enterprise focus,
- Work in collaboration with the person and their key network members through the unique MEP 4 step process to create and launch a meaningful, intentional, individually designed micro enterprise,
- Assist the micro enterprise owner to recruit a personal assistant/mentor to support the day-to-day operation of their micro-enterprise,
- Provide ongoing motivation, guidance and support to the micro enterprise owner, personal assistant and key network members.
- Uphold CLP’s values and ensure services are safe, sustainable and aligned with each person’s vision for a good life.
Who you are
- You are a thoughtful, energetic person who is an excellent communicator and understands the importance of building and maintaining good relationships.
- You can work with complexity whilst engaging with people with disability and families in an inclusive, respectful and compassionate manner.
- You have strong skills working with people.
- You can work well both autonomously and as part of a team.
Advantages of the role
- Micro Enterprise Coaches have access to training and ongoing mentorship in the role.
- Flexible working arrangements are in place - work from home and on location with people in their local area and around the Adelaide metropolitan area.
- Permanent part time role - 30.4hours (0.8FTE) per week (some after-hours work may be required from time to time but this not a frequent occurrence).
- Generous 6 weeks leave and motor vehicle allowance.

- Current NDIS Worker and Working with Children Checks (or willingness to obtain).
- Current Driver’s Licence and have own vehicle to use for work purposes.
