About the role

This is a senior advisory role for an accomplished P3M professional who wants to influence how complex organisations govern, prioritise and deliver strategic change. As a Principal Consultant, you will work directly with client executives and senior stakeholders to assess organisational maturity and design practical improvements to the way portfolios, programmes and projects are governed and delivered. You will help clients translate strategy into executable delivery frameworks, establish effective governance and assurance, improve portfolio visibility and strengthen organisational delivery capability.

Key responsibilities

- Acting as a trusted P3M advisor to executives and senior stakeholders

- Assessing organisational P3M maturity and recommending practical improvements

- Designing and implementing P3M and PMO operating models

- Establishing and maturing Project, Programme and Portfolio Management Offices

- Designing governance, assurance and delivery frameworks

- Supporting portfolio prioritisation, investment planning and benefits realisation

- Developing executive reporting, dashboards and meaningful performance measures





- Leading complex business and technology transformation initiatives

- Applying PRINCE2, Agile and Hybrid delivery approaches

- Facilitating executive workshops, governance forums and strategic planning sessions

About you

- Demonstrated experience establishing and leading a PMO from inception

- Extensive experience managing complex portfolios, programmes and projects

- Robust executive stakeholder engagement and consulting capability

- Experience implementing P3M governance frameworks, operating models and delivery methodologies

- Experience working across both traditional and Agile delivery environments

- Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and executive decision-making

- Experience leading organisational and/or technology transformation

Qualifications & AGSVA Security Clearance Level

- A degree in Business, Project Management, Information Technology or a related discipline

- PRINCE2 Practitioner certification

- A recognised P3M qualification such as MoP, MSP, P3O, PfMP or equivalent

- Please note: A current AGSVA Baseline security clearance is required for this position. NV1 is preferred.
