St Peter’s Catholic College, Tuggerah is seeking a student focused and pro-active School Services Officer – College Receptionist to join the School Services Team. This is a temporary part-time role (20.5 hours per fortnight) to start on 26 August 2026 for the remainder of the 2026 school year.

Specific Criteria
This School Services Officer position is to cover the school front desk duties. Please can you include the following or similar in the job advert.
- Supports school leaders and teachers in a general administrative capacity for them to focus their time on teaching and managing school operations.
- Experience in finance administration and or use of Compass would be highly regarded.
- A deep commitment to safeguarding as everyone's responsibility and prioritising child safety
- Performs administrative tasks as directed by the SSSO to be performed by the administrative support team at the school
- Contributes effectively to a school administrative team and front office that presents and operates in a qualified manner with effective and efficient administrative systems and processes in place
- Keeps accurate administrative records to ensure statutory obligations can be evidenced reliably
- Provides administrative support to the ‘School Services’ team at the school, inclusive of the SSSO, as needed
- Uploads information and communicates with the school community through Compass and/or other internal communication channels
- Attends to sick bay for staff and students to ensure they are comfortable and administers any need for medication and/or first aid
- Assists in following up WHS incidents, issues, and concerns as appropriate
- Assists in the coordination of school functions, events and gatherings
- Assists SSSO to ensure school finance processes, are undertaken in accordance with system policies and procedures.
