Our team in Perth require a Talent Acquisition Specialist supporting the recruitment of skilled trades and professionals across Structural, Mechanical & Piping (SMP), Project, Shutdowns, and Maintenance throughout Western Australia.

About the Role

As our Talent Acquisition Specialist, you'll play a critical role in sourcing, attracting, and securing high-quality talent to support SMP projects and shutdown works.

Working closely with the operations and project teams, you'll manage end-to-end recruitment while building and maintaining a strong pipeline of qualified candidates ready to mobilise when required.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from job briefing through to onboarding.

- Source and engage skilled blue-collar and white-collar candidates for SMP projects & Shutdowns.

- Build and maintain talent pools for shutdown personnel, including: Boilermakers, Mechanical & Pipe Fitters, Riggers, Supervisors, Project Coordinators, Estimators.

- Conduct phone screens and face to face interviews.

- Coordinate pre-employment medicals, VOCs, inductions and mobilisation requirements.

- Work closely with operational team to forecast labour requirements.

- Develop proactive recruitment strategies to meet peak shutdown demands.





- Build strong relationships with potential and current employees

- Maintain accurate candidate records

- Deliver an outstanding candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.

About You

You'll be a motivated recruiter with experience in high-volume industrial recruitment and a passion for connecting great people with outstanding opportunities.

You'll ideally have:

- Previous recruitment or talent acquisition experience within mining, resources, construction or industrial services.

- Strong knowledge of SMP, shutdown and maintenance workforces.

- Experience recruiting for blue-collar trades.

- Excellent sourcing and networking skills.

- Strong organisational and time management abilities.

- Ability to manage multiple vacancies simultaneously.

- High attention to detail and a customer-focused approach.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Willingness to work on site and at our Bunbury office from time to time

Desirable

- Experience with mobilisation and compliance processes.

- Knowledge of WA mining sites and shutdown schedules.
