About the role

Salamanca Fresh is seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Store Team Members to join our retail team in Hobart, Tasmania. These are full-time positions (groceries and fresh produce team leader) and casual positions (customer service at registers) that offer exciting opportunities to be part of a dynamic and colourful retail environment where you will contribute to delivering exceptional customer experiences every single day. All Team Members are the face of our brand, playing a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring our customers leave with a smile. These roles is essential to maintaining our high standards of service and driving the success of our store operations.

As a Team Leader you will be experienced in all aspects fresh produce and lead your team to do great things with our carefully nurtured fresh produce.

What we're looking for

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage with customers from all backgrounds

- A genuine passion for delivering excellent customer service and creating positive shopping experiences

- Reliability and a positive attitude, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team

- Basic numeracy skills and accuracy in handling transactions and financial matters

- Physical capability to perform duties such as standing for extended periods, lifting and carrying stock, and restocking shelves

- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and public holidays as required by retail operations

- Previous retail or customer service experience is advantageous but not essential for enthusiastic candidates willing to learn

- A skilled appearance and commitment to maintaining high standards of personal presentation





- Ability to remain calm and patient during busy periods and handle customer queries professionally
