HC Truck Driver - Townsville based - Full time Permanent position

Flexihire is currently looking for experienced transport operator to join our busy branch.

About the role

The key responsibilities for this position include:

- Delivery and collection of hire equipment in our semi trailer truck & tilt trays. This will include occasional Manual Handling of small plant and load restraint.

- Adopt and comply with a high level of safe work culture within our company & respect that we must comply with our clients safe work practices as well.

- Mixture of local deliveries and occasional overnight runs to branches.

- Modern equipment and training provided.

- Typical hours are 6am - 5pm Monday to Friday depending on work load demands.

- All hours worked are paid for.

- Assisting others in the branch with service and maintenance of equipment, yard maintenance and customer service as required

The key skills required for this role include:

- HC truck license with minimum 2 years' experience

- Forklift license preferred but not essential

- Tilt tray experience with mobile plant & containers is highly regarded

- Excellent level of Customer service

- Mechanical or Hire Industry experience would be advantageous

- Great communication skills & team spirit

- VOC on Access & Earth Moving equipment advantageous but not essential.





- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and quickly adapt to changes on a daily basis.
