Key Responsibilities:

- Operating automatic & semi-automatic machinery (i.e. Propac Vertical Form Fill Seal Packaging Machines)

- Ensuring that pre-operational equipment & process checks are completed and documented

- Maintaining & controlling the operation of metal detection systems

- Monitoring & controlling the packing process in adherence to quality requirements

- Adjusting packing equipment for optimum output to minimise downti

- Ensuring plant and equipment is kept clean and properly maintained for optimal performance.

- Ensuring food safety standards are met

To be successful in this role you will have:

- A proactive-can do attitude with an invested interest in continuous improvement

- Capacity to repetitively lift between 15-20kg.

- A safe approach to work

- Awareness of food safety, quality assurance and HACCP (training will be provided)

- Strong communication skills

- Good numeracy/computer literacy skills

- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

- Previous experience in a FMCG setting (preferred)
