ESS Defence provides food service and hospitality support to Defence sites across Australia. We deliver high-quality meals and service that support the wellbeing of Australian Defence Force personnel.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our team at Gallipoli Barracks, Enoggera. This hands-on leadership role is ideal for a hospitality professional who enjoys leading teams, delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining high operational standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and support front-of-house team members during daily operations
• Supervise food and beverage service across dining facilities and hospitality functions
• Coordinate meal services and special event requirements
• Maintain food safety, hygiene and HACCP standards
• Ensure high standards of customer service and presentation
• Assist with staff training, coaching and development
• Support rostering and daily operational requirements
• Promote a positive and professional team culture

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Previous experience in a Food & Beverage Supervisor,



Team Leader or similar hospitality role
• Strong leadership and team coordination skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Sound knowledge of food safety, hygiene and HACCP requirements
• Ability to organise workloads and manage competing priorities
• Professional presentation and positive attitude
• Current RSA or willingness to obtain
• Ability to obtain and maintain a National Police Check and Defence clearance
