We have a house renovation project in Preston and need an experienced professional painter with excellent attention to detail to complete some remaining painting and repair work.
Scope of Work
One side of the house: Existing weatherboards were not replaced. They need to be sanded, repaired with exterior-grade putty/filler where required, properly prepared and painted.
3 exterior doors and door frames: Paint the exterior side only.
Exterior middle panel: One panel/section was missed during the previous painting and needs to be painted.
Small laundry: Very small laundry area needs minor repairs and repainting, particularly around/next to the light switch.
Minor touch-ups: A few small areas around the house need minor repairs, filling and repainting.

Please check ALL photos carefully before making an offer.

The side of the house is elevated/high because there is a retaining wall underneath. You must be comfortable and properly equipped to work at this height.

You are responsible for bringing the correct ladder/access equipment required to safely complete this section.

Please do not accept the job and then say the side of the house is too high or you don't have the correct equipment.



Check the photos carefully and only make an offer if you are confident you can complete the entire job.

Materials & Equipment

I will supply the paint.

You must bring your own:

Exterior/interior putty and filler
Sanding equipment
Brushes and rollers
Appropriate ladders/access equipment
Preparation materials
Drop sheets/protection
All other tools required to complete the work professionally
Requirements

Looking for a qualified painter, not a handyman, with:

Excellent attention to detail
Experience repairing and painting weatherboards
Experience working safely at height
Good preparation and finishing skills
Own professional tools and equipment
References and/or photos of previous painting work
Price

Please quote a FIXED PRICE for the COMPLETE JOB.

The work is expected to take approximately max 2 days for an experienced painter.

No hourly rates please. Your offer must include all labour, preparation, sanding, filler/putty, tools and access equipment required. Paint will be supplied by me.

There may be ongoing painting work on future renovation projects for the right painter.
