The Window Installation Company is a trusted provider of high-quality window installation solutions, working with some of Australia’s biggest brands. We specialise in the installation of uPVC, aluminium, and timber window systems, including full glazing across all profiles and wet glazing applications.

The Opportunity
Due to continued growth, we are expanding our Tasmanian team and are looking for motivated individuals across three levels: Lead Installer, General Installer, and Junior Installer.
All roles play a key part in delivering and upholding WIC (Window Installation Company) installation standards on every project.
Lead Installer
A hands-on leadership role responsible for delivering projects while maintaining and driving WIC installation and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead installation teams on-site while actively working on the tools
- Install and glaze uPVC, aluminium, and timber window systems, including wet glazing
- Oversee and enforce WIC installation standards and quality control
- Manage workflow, productivity, and on-site problem solving
- Mentor and support team members
- Liaise with clients and internal teams
Requirements:
- Extensive experience installing and glazing multiple window systems
- Proven leadership or supervisory experience
- Robust knowledge of installation standards, safety,
and compliance
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
General Installer
A skilled installer responsible for delivering high-quality installations while consistently meeting WIC standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and glaze uPVC, aluminium, and timber windows, including wet glazing
- Work collaboratively with team members and leadership
- Maintain and uphold WIC installation standards on all projects
- Follow safe and efficient work practices
- Assist with site preparation and clean-up
Requirements:
- Experience in window installation and/or glazing
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and within a team
Junior Installer
An entry-level role focused on developing skills while supporting the team and learning WIC installation standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with installation and glazing tasks across all window systems
- Learn uPVC, aluminium, timber installations, and wet glazing techniques
- Support the team in maintaining WIC installation standards
- Maintain tools, equipment, and site cleanliness
Requirements:
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills
- Positive attitude and reliability
- Interest in construction or glazing (preferred but not essential)
