About the role

As our Assistant Restaurant Manager, you'll support the Food and Beverage Manager in the smooth day-to-day running of the venue. You'll be hands-on — leading the floor, engaging your team, and ensuring every guest leaves with a smile. You'll balance service excellence with operational know-how, keeping standards high and the energy higher.

Key responsibilities

- Lead and inspire front-of-house and bar staff to deliver outstanding hospitality

- Oversee service across all areas — bar and restaurant

- Support rostering, stock control, and ordering to meet business targets

- Maintain compliance with RSA, OH&S;, and venue safety standards

- Drive a positive, team-oriented workplace culture

- Handle customer feedback with professionalism and care

- Assist with functions, events, and venue promotions

About you

- Previous experience in a supervisory or assistant management role in hospitality

- Strong communication and leadership skills





- A hands-on approach and ability to stay calm under pressure

- Great attention to detail and a focus on guest satisfaction

- Availability to work nights and weekends

- Current RSA
