About the role

Ray's by Out in the Paddock is a café business with locations at Burnside Village and Eastwood. We are looking for experienced hospitality professionals across multiple roles: Assistant Manager(Full-time), Head Barista (Full-Time), Chef (Full-Time) , and Front of House Staff. We're looking for people who genuinely love hospitality, take pride in what they do and understand that the little details matter.

Key responsibilities

Assistant Manager — Burnside Village:

- Help lead the busy Burnside Village café alongside the Café Manager

- Oversee daily operations

- Support and develop the team

- Maintain service and presentation standards

- Ensure the café runs smoothly during busy periods

- Make confident decisions and give direction

- Lead by example

Head Barista — Burnside Village:

- Lead the coffee offering at the busy Burnside Village location

- Maintain quality and consistency during busy service

- Lead from the front and set high standards

- Train and support the team

- Take genuine ownership of the coffee operation

Chef — Eastwood:

- Work with fresh, quality ingredients across the café menu, cabinet offering and catering





- Work in a busy café environment

Experienced Front of House Staff:

- Look after people and create outstanding hospitality

- Notice details and welcome people warmly

- Remember regulars and help create atmosphere

About you

- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role

- Full working rights in Australia

- Available across a rotating 7-day roster

- Reliable, professional and well presented

- Friendly, confident and genuinely passionate about hospitality

- Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment

- Take pride in cleanliness, organisation and attention to detail

- Work well as part of a team while taking ownership of your role
